I started out studying for a City & Guilds course at Ware College where I achieved a distinction. I then went on to work at a book publishers in Holborn, London where my role was to proof read. Then I went on to work for an exhibition company at Hadley Green where I was the only Graphic Designer. I was with them for 4 years, then they went into liquidation. I moved on to work for Fotomount and was there for 13 years where Louis and I worked together. We then decided to put our creative visions into our own company, Spencer Rhodes Graphics Ltd.
I spent about a year working with a photographer doing local press work, weddings and portraiture, then moved on to a commercial photographic studio. I spent 9 years as a photographic printer and studio assistant. I then worked for Fotomount as a printer and mounter (print mounting and laminating) also started vinyl cutting (signs), this is where Linda and I first started working together. Since then, we have been combining our creative minds into one thing, Spencer Rhodes Graphics Ltd.
